Welcome to the home of the Rotary Club of Claremont on the World Wide Web. We hope that these pages are a useful resource for several groups of people. Claremont Rotarians may access the current and past issues of our bulletin, the Claremont Clarion.
There are also extensive links into the wider world of Rotary on the Net.

Visiting Rotarians and other guests may be interested to learn more about our club and its many activities, particularly our two major fundraising projects, the Cape Argus Pick ’n Pay Cycle Tour and the Discovery Cape Times Big Walk, not to mention our many other projects and activities.

The dark blue navigation strip at the top will help you to find your way around the site. Click on the logo at the top left hand side to return to this page.

We would welcome any suggestions for enhancement or improvement of our site.

"The club with the Cherry on the Top"

The National Botanical Gardens at Kirstenbosch is situated in the Claremont area and when the club was started it was allowed to use the logo of the National Botanical Society, a stylized version of the Protea, the national flower of South Africa, on the Club's banner. The emblem looks like a cherry, hence “The Club with the Cherry on the Top”.
